Hunan Weite Pharmaceutical Co.,LTD, Ltd., formerly known as Weightech (Hunan) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and founded in March 2003, is located in Changsha National Biological Industry Base, covering a total area of 100 mu. On August 13, 2019, the company was changed to Hunan Weite Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. through share restructuring reform. Hunan Weite Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive pharmaceutical company integrating manufacturing, marketing and sales, research and development in the all-round structural layout of APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients), tablets, capsules and granules. Over the development in more than a decade, the company has achieved constant development and continuous expansion.

The company possesses three manufacturing workshops including API (active pharmaceutical ingredients) workshop, solid preparation workshop and extraction workshop, and has successfully passed through the national GMP certification. In 2005, the API telmisartan and its preparation manufactured by the company has been included and listed in the National Demonstration Project for New and High Technology Industries. In February 2015, API (active pharmaceutical ingredients), tablet, hard capsule and granule of the company passed through the new national GMP certification.

The company has established rigorous quality assurance system, with a complete supply of testing instruments and equipments. The main products include a variety of medications including antihypertensive drug-API telmisartan and its preparation (trade name: Sha Ting Ning) and API irbesartan; exclusive product Ginseng and Astragalus Gelatin Granule used for benefiting both qi and blood, gynecological drug Uterus-warming and Fertility-helping Capsule, gastroenterological drug Nizatidine Dispersible Tablets, cardio-cerebrovascular drug Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets and so on. The Institute of Medicine of the company comprises a synthetic laboratory, a preparation laboratory, a physiochemical analysis room, an instrument analysis room and a medical information center. The core cadres consist of technical talents with rich experiences in various fields in the industry. All the personnels are of bachelor's degree or graduate's degree, capable of relentlessly developing new products to be launched on the market. 

In 2015, the company set up and registered a new company named Hainan Sha Ting Ning Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd in Hainan due to expansion and development. Hainan Sha Ting Ning Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is a pharmaceutical enterprise specializing in the manufacturing of APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients), covering a total area of 20000m2, and is situated in the economic development zone of the Old Town of Chengmai County in Hainan.
