Overview of Research & Development
The Pharmaceutical Research Institute of Weightech is equipped with equipments and analytical instruments of international advanced level, allowing for the drug R&D work ranging from project evaluation and project setup, API (active pharmaceutical ingredients) and preparation process research to quality standard formulation and filing for registration. Annual research and development input accounts for 6-10% of the total sales revenue.
R&D Team
Over more than a decade's development, the Pharmaceutical Research Institute of Weightech is divided into three departments including synthesis room, analysis room and preparation room. For now, the institute has a total number of over 20 independent R&D personnels, whose majors involve multiple fields ranging from chemistry, Chinese traditional medicine, pharmacology to analysis. Among them, more than 30% of the personnels have graduate degrees and senior technical titles, shouldering a series of important scientific research work entailing new drug development, process improvement etc.
R &D Platform
1. Synthesis Room In addition to common instruments and equipments for synthesis, the synthesis room is also provided with special reactor equipments like autoclave (2L), light reactor etc.
2. Analysis Room The analysis room is equipped with high performance liquid chromatograph, dissolution tester, laser particle size analyzer and other commonly used analytical instruments and equipments.
3. Preparation Room The preparation room is supplied with preparation research equipments including high performance wet granulation machine, rotary pelleting machine, multi-function roller, hardness tester etc.
